We do not yet have enough records from distinct localities to calculate typical elevation. We need 23 more distinct localities.
Taxonomy
The subspecies that occurs in our area is the California Whiptail (Aspidoscelis tigris munda).
Taxonomic Etymology
Taxonomy Notes
Historically this species was classified in the genus Cnemidophorus. Some literature may still use that genus.
